Westside Terrace Healthcare will offer its help to the 23rd Annual Ronnie Randall Memorial Golf Tournament. In addition to being one of the event’s sponsors, a team will play in the event and volunteers will help with tournament contests. The event is organized by Southern Bone & Joint Specialists, an orthopaedic care facility in Alabama. According to their website, the tournament honors the memory of Dr. Ronnie Randall, an orthopaedic surgeon and a founding partner of Southern Bone & Joint Specialists.
The event will be held May 16, from 10:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Highland Oaks Golf Course. Proceeds from this year’s tournament will benefit local charities, such as the Wiregrass Area Food Bank and Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and the Orthopaedic Research and Education Foundation. Kristie Hughes, Westside Terrace’s administrator said the facility has been a participant in the tournament for about 10 years and has developed a great relationship with Southern Bone & Joint.
“We are so proud to be able to give back to our community through this event,” Hughes said. “We love supporting our partners in their charitable efforts.”
